Fire, drag upward, crosshair climbing chest-to-head as the shots land — the drag headshot is equal parts technique and fit. The fit is manufactured inside Dark Aura headshot setup by two settings acting as one system: general sensitivity, which drives the motion, and red dot sensitivity, which governs it under aim. This guide fits that system to your handset and your natural swipe, then replaces hope with a drill.

A candid preface: no configuration lands headshots on its own. Settings make the correct motion feel natural; repetition makes it yours.

The System of Two Sliders

General owns the drag's raw travel — hip-fire movement and swipe velocity. Red dot owns the identical motion inside the sight, where deliberate drags are executed. Sequence matters: general first, because red dot is judged against the foundation it refines.

Scopes spectate at this range; their session comes separately. The complete division of labour, all six controls, is charted in our sliders explained guide.

Measure Your Unsupervised Swipe

In training, take position at an honest engagement distance and throw the drag your thumb produces when nobody — including you — is supervising it. Diagnose from where the crosshair dies: expiring at the neck calls the governing value upward; overshooting the head entirely calls it downward.

Twenty repetitions per verdict, since lone attempts are anecdotes with confidence. Then repeat near, because the real configuration is the negotiated settlement between two distances — best chosen consciously, at a desk, rather than discovered at a disadvantage.

Hardware Overrules Friendships

Values drag differently across hardware as a matter of arithmetic: display dimensions stretch or compress the physical swipe, and DPI re-scales the system's measurement of it. A arrangement that prints headshots on a large phone can be honestly unusable on a compact one at identical numbers.

Changing phones, transport the method and the relationships between sliders; recalibrate the level. The checklist lives in our phone size and DPI guide and consumes an afternoon, once.

Practice in Counted Sets

Ten minutes: one distance, one target, twenty drags, the score recorded. Counted practice quarantines aim from everything matches dilute it with — loot, positioning, survival arithmetic — and aim is the variable under construction.

Plot the score across days. The session where it rises and then refuses to fall back across three meetings is the session your setup and your skill formally merged. The extended drill library — tracking, scopes, verdicts — is our training testing guide.

Final Thoughts

Fit the pair to your genuine swipe at two distances, obey the hardware arithmetic, practise in audited sets. Headshots become a rate instead of an event — and rates can be raised on purpose.
